Determining your needs
We will meet in person or over the phone to determine what are the most important aspects for you in your search for a new home: neighborhoods, beds and bath count, parking, walkability. Once we know what is important to you, we can help you find your perfect new home.
If you do not already have one, we will recommend a local area lender that we have worked with in the past. It is important for you and your lender to meet and review your finances and budget so that you are able to determine the price range of a home you are comfortable with.
Starting your Home Search
Once we have some criteria, we will set you up on a auto email from the multiple list serve that will alert you to any new properties that come on the market that match your criteria. We will review the properties together – and as soon as there are any that you would like to view, we will arrange a property tour.
Making an Offer
Once you find a property and are ready to make an offer, we will help structure the best offer possible for you. We will negotiate the terms of the contract, coordinate counter offers, and work with all parties to work towards a ratified contract.
Navigating the Home Inspection
We will arrange for a local licensed home inspector to come and inspect the property. We will review the inspection report with you and if the inspector has any recommended repairs we will coordinate either the repairs that need to be made, or credits to you that need to be receive.
We will coordinate with the title and settlement company to ensure that they have all of the information they need. We will work with you to schedule a time to come in and sign the settlement documents.
